The Problem

The Problem

Jessica Miller was performing well as an Account Executive at one of the top national insurance brokers. She had met her personal and professional goals, but she had reached a plateau and felt like her ability to grow was being limited.

She wanted to join a company where she would be able to have real autonomy and flexibility. She wanted to be able to use her creative side to solve her client’s problems, and to manage and grow her own book of business without being held down to metrics.

The Solution

The Solution

Our client, IMA, was a perfect fit. They had the flexible work culture she was needed, and they put a premium on training and development so employees are encouraged to continually grow their skills. We set her up for a coffee with the practice leader, and they were able to talk about what each was seeking to see if there was a fit. Once they determined there was, Jessica went back for a more serious interview with the team leader and met with the account manager and analyst she would be leading. A month after our first conversation, she was offered the job at a nice increase over her current compensation.

The Outcome

The Outcome

Two years later, Jessica has been extremely happy with the move and IMA has been happy with her. She still has the autonomy and flexibility she wanted, and still enjoys the job. And her clients love her!
